I’m not exactly sure who is doing the talking here. I’d figure once “Mac” hits the target at 300 miles puer minute, he’s pretty much obliterated. Does “Mac” transfer his consciousness from missile to missile? Does this open up a whole weird can of metaphysical worms?

Mac dwells in the multiverse. There are an infinite number of Macs in an infinite number of missiles across parallel multiverse, so his consciousness actually collapses its superimposed waveform state to the next nearest universe branch where Mac is still alive.
